Mr. Pilates gave his signature body of exercises to Romana Kryzanowska when he passed, and she gave them to Alycea Ungaro. Alycea now offers this work to you through the Real Pilates Teacher Training program!
The Real Pilates Teacher Training program offers you an opportunity to carry on the legacy of Joseph Pilates and become a third-generation classically trained Pilates teacher.
RPTT is a comprehensive 600 hour, 30-week program presented in both practical and academic tracks. Over the course of 30 weeks, you will complete four seminar weekends and extensive guided study covering the complete system of exercises created by Joseph Pilates. In addition to time in the studio, you will complete academic coursework which is presented online in step with your progress through the program.
The academic track will cover anatomy, how to teach special populations, working with common injuries and how to present yourself as a Pilates professional. Assignments include session program design, anatomy, Pilates history, short essays on your perspective as a budding teacher, business training and much more.
Upon completing training, you will be a 3rd Generation Classical Pilates Teacher in the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska with an international network of colleagues ready to support you in your career and continuing education.
